Keratides is the neighbouring beach to Chalikia, towards the east.
Keratides, although easily accessed on foot from the centre of Paleochora, is an ideal solution for those who seek a quiet beach.
This long beach isn’t organised. The only organised part is in front of the magnificent Pearl Cavo beach bar-cafe which is among the best spots in Paleochora as well as the Paleochora Camping site.
The traditional tanern Vryssali is on the way from Paleochora to Keratides.
Facilities
Keratides beach is a long pebbly beach with no facilities at its most part.
How to get to Keratides beach
Keratides beach is just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Paleochora. Follow the road to Anydri/ Gialiskari towards the west. The walk is great and very characteristic of the Cretan village life!
