Location

The east side of Paleochora features a lovely promenade with unobstructed views as well as the jetty where the ferries anchor at its west end.

At the eastern end of the promenade there is the pebbly beach of Chalikia (ie Pebbles).
Chalikia or Halikia is another ideal beach for those who prefer to walk, fully organised, with many restaurants and cafes a stone’s throw away.
The waters are deep and refreshing, making this pebbly central beach of Paleochora another must visit beach on hot days!
